Nice cozy place for birthday celebration. Nice signature yam crispy slices with truffle oil, a 9/10 score. The prawn paste diced fried chicken is a too salty, only dish that the 9 of us did not finish, a 7/10 score. All other pictured dish were satisfactory to very good. Overall a repeat visit for our family.
The peach jelly cold dessert with red dates is interesting.
Service is very good ! 6 stars ! Very traditional restaurant 酒楼. They helped us change our plate.
Crispy yam with truffle oil, Hong Kong style steam Soon Hock and braised fish noodles with fry scallop are delicious! Pan fried pork neck meat also good. Fried rice with fry silver fish and fry scallop is so so only because personally felt wet and not dry.
Nice atmosphere and easy to go there from Kallang MRT. Beside is the car park so very convenient.
Highly recommended 👍
Tucked next to multi story in Geylang Lorong 3, this is quite a gem and place known to foodies .
Love the truffle yam , which is thinly julienned yam slices fried and drizzled with truffle sauce .
The appetiser of dace fish cake and prawn roll was flavour but somehow did not come with accompanying sauce.
What was also nice is their black chicken soup with almond , pretty unusual flavours .
My all time favourite is the fish paste noodles in an egg white sauce .
Food is nice & not crowded on the Friday evening. However dishes are not coming at the same time, the gap of 5-10 by each dish.
Price is a bit high compare to other restaurants.
Food is really good with some unique cuisines that you hardly find in Cantonese restaurants. We had a big group, so took the private room with a min spending of $700.
I must say, all the dishes were really good. Prices were reasonable for the quality & amount of food we ordered. Forgot to take pictures of the cold crab, vegetables, claypot rice & fried pig intestines.
Had a simple and warm lunch with family in this Cantonese restaurant. The food portion is just right and the taste is good too. Yet, the Braised E-Fu Noodles could be less salty. Would highly recommend the Crispy Yan with Truffle Oil dish!
Definitely a must try restaurant, a hidden gem in singapore, we had the sweat and sour pork, their signature yam, foie gras, deep fried intestines, and the crowd favorites the steamed fish, salted egg prawns, and fried rice. Everything was delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive of your needs. Didn’t have the chance to took a photo of other food menu items because we ate it immediately.
Located along Geylang Lorong 3 at corner shop leading to multi-storey car park.
An established old-time favourite dining place, serving delicious unique food fare.
We had the lobster noodle which was very well prepared and full of flavour.
Do not miss their Signature Yam.
Patin Fish was well prepared, meat and sauce were delicious.
Egg white with scallops looks plain, but surprising delicious too.
We tried a sample bowl of their pork-lard fried rice ... yummy !!!
Staffs are Helpful and eager to serve ... just ask them for recommendations if you are unsure ....
